Herbal Infused Oil for Dry Hair
Ingredients:
1 cup Extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp. Chamomile
1 Tbsp. Stinging nettle
1 Tbsp. Rosemary
1 Tbsp. Basil
1 Tbsp. Geranium
1 Tbsp. Juniper
Instructions:
Place the herbs in a big glass jar with a tight lid. Pour the olive oil to fully submerse them. Add more oil if needed. Put the lid on and place the mixture in a dark and cool place. Leave the herbs to soak there for about 40 days. Next, simply strain the infusion and store the infused oil in a glass container. When applying the oil, mix it with some fresh lemon juice. Rub the mixture on moist scalp and leave it to work for about an hour. Wash off with mild shampoo.
Homemade Jojoba Shampoo for Dry Hair
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Liquid castile soap
1/2 cup Water
2 Tbsps. Peppermint leaves
2 Tbsps. Glycerin
1/2 tsp. Jojoba oil
1/2 tsp. Honey
Instructions:
Mix the water and the peppermint in a metal pot and heat them. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes and take it off the heat. Put the lid on the pot and leave the infusion to cool off for 20 minutes. Strain the tea and pour it in a bottle or other suitable container. Add the remaining ingredients and shake well. Shake again before each use.
